There is a kind of psychopathic glint in those blues. The thoughtful expression. His mind holds knowledge of things, places, events and people that exist only in the nightmares of others. Through his words and music, we are brought into his world - but at a safe distance. The things he has experienced, many can only ponder. Born on October, 1974 Name: Marshall Mathers III a.k.a. Eminem, Slim Shady He has a daughter named Hailie Jade Scott whom he absolutely adores. He's a Libra, like me ;) Well, I don't know a whole lot about his bio, but his past isn't what this page is about. It's about...it's about...hell, I don't know, I just think Shady's one hell of a rapper and it pisses me off that a lot of people I know say he's not a "true" rapper only because he's white. What kind of bullshit is that?! He has skill and talent, and dammit, that's what makes a rapper. His lyrics may shock people, but some people don't live in the real world. Honestly, this guy isn't for everyone...but I was introduced to his style by a friend of mine who'd liked his music for quite a while. | This page exists purely to give my small tribute to my favorite rapper. He has, believe it or not, given me hope in my life - I have lived through a lot as he has, and they say what doesn't kill you makes you stronger. Maybe not stronger...but harder. You become cold to certain things. And some things you need to become hardened to. But proof that just because you've become cold to some things doesn't mean to all things is found in Slim Shady. He loves his daughter dearly, and anyone who thinks different ought to be slapped. There isn't much else to say other than I am completely fascinated by Shady, and just want to say that I hope he stays around for a very long time - the world's wake-up call isn't over yet. | |||||||||||||||||||
